The Global Music Industry is now licensing GMI Registration Agents worldwide in every major city!

Similar to the insurance and real estate industries, GMI licenses individuals and businesses to assist those who wish to register. GMI Registration Agents simply provide the necessary information and assistance with the simple registration process.

There are several types of GMI Registration Agents; Senior Agents, Referral Agents, Location Agents, Business Agents, and Media Referral Agents. The earning potential is unlimited and agents can earn a flat fee, 25% or even 50% depending on their approved agent level and type the transaction.

GMI Registration Agents are a very important part of the Global Music Industry since those applying to obtain their GMI Registration Number AND those applying to become a GMI Registration Agent must be connected with a licensed agent.  Therefore, all transactions are referred to agents based on either their location or the Registrants or potential agent’s choice. A GMI Registration Agent’s earning potential is truly unlimited since the world is their workplace and they get to work a flexible schedule. They can choose to work with GMI as their main source of income or supplemental income.

See the various agent types below.

GMI Sr Registration Agent

GMI Senior Agents work for GMI full time and are assigned to GMI Registrants to assist with their registration and renewal processes.

GMI Referral Agent L1

GMI Referral Agents Level 1 may earn full-time, part-time, or supplemental income. Referral Agents simply educate the music community about the Global Music Industry and how to obtain their GMI Registration number and connect them with the main office for registration and processing.

GMI Referral Agent L2

GMI Referral Agents Level 2 are similar to a Level 1 agent but actually assist the registrant a step further. They will follow up with the main office to ensure that the setup process is complete, confirm that a dedicated GMI Registration Agent has been assigned, ensure that the certificate was issued, and that the registrant has gained access to their online portal.

GMI Business Agent

GMI Business Agents are for existing businesses that have a clientele of 50 (fifty) clients or more. GMI BA's can offer and assist their clients to obtain their registration while earning a flat fee for each registrant. They will be assisted by our main office with the onboarding process. They may also offer it to others outside of their businesses. This is an excellent effortless extra revenue stream while helping existing clientele to get registered with the Global Music Industry. Great for organizations, recording studios, publishers, or any business that has an existing client base.

GMI Location Agent

Location and Business Agents already have either a physical location or a large clientele. They can simply offer this service to those who are already supporting their existing business. This extra revenue stream can truly help their businesses to go while assisting their clients/customers with obtaining their GMI Registration Numbers.

GMI Media Referral Agent

GMI Media Referral Agents are for DJ's, Radio & TV Personalities, bloggers,  journalists or any one in the media with an audience. This is a great way to not only assist those in the music industry to get registered with the Official Registration Office for the Music Industry but also to add an extra revenue stream for simply mentioning GMI and encouraging those in the industry to get registered!

How Do I Apply to be a GMI Registration Agent?

Simply fill out the form and make your payment for the licensing process. Your application will be reviewed and GMI will inform you of which agent types you qualify for based on your answers to the GMI Agent Questionnaire.

How much does the licensing process cost?

There is a $50 Application Fee, $30 Background Check Fee and a $100 training fee. Those who meet specific milestones will be refunded $150 of the licensing fees above after their first 100 days.

Are there any other fees?

There is a monthly $10 back office fee. Senior Registration Agents will pay $30 yet not for the first launch year. They will pay the same as the other agent types.

Why do I have to pay a monthly back office fee?

It is a contribution toward the office staff that will be assisting the licensed agents. This fee is also required to maintain your GMI Registration Agent License.

How can I be sure of what is the best license type for me?

This will actually be decided for you since you have to meet certain requirements for each one. Some agent types require a certain skillset while the others do not.

How long is the training to become an agent?

Training is usually one day for most agent types. Senior Agents may require more training. There will be video support and training support meetings.

Will I have to take a test to become licensed?

Yes. You will receive an online training exam and/or a verbal exam so that we can certify that you are providing correct information, know how to assist with the set up process and (for Senior Agents) know how to guide the clients through their onboarding process.

What are the minimum requirements?

Each Agent Type must communicate regularly, must attend scheduled agent meetings online when posted, must maintain their weekly or monthly quotas.
