A GMI Location Agent is a business that has a physical location.  GMI LA’s will sign up the registrant and take payment directly into the GMI system. 

The cost for all GMI Agent Licenses are the same.  

  • There is a one time application fee of $50usd
  • There is a $30usd background check fee
  • There is a $100usd training fee

GMI Location Agents earn a flat fee for each Registrant Registration.  

The training process is quite simple and therefore only takes 1 day of training. However, trainees will have to attend meeting for an oral and form exam to obtain their certification. An agents training is finished once they can display that they have and understand the correct content knowledge and procedures to assist the registrants. Location Agents also have to have their primary staff be trained as well for the processing part of the transaction. The Location Agent can train their staff about GMI to encourage their patrons to register. However, processing training is mandatory for all staff. They too must complete the certification exam to be able to handle registrant registrations.

Yes. For each additional staff member, there will be a $50usd training fee to learn about how to process the person and get them connected with the Intake Team. 

No. There is no special equipment needed as there is with lottery and money transfer companies that are set up at locations. However, you must have a computer with high speed internet and a printer to print the registrants receipt confirmation.  All transactions will be entered directly into the GMI website payment section.

Basically any business with a physical location may be eligible to add this as an additional revenue stream.
